概要	We investigated the risk factors of depression in fathers at four weeks, postpartum.The study was designed as a prospective cohort study from antenatal period to 1 month postpartum. Participants were 539 couples who participated in the childbirth education class in the third trimester of pregnancy. They completed the self-administered questionnaires. Depression during the antenatal period, negative life events, separation from parents, and medical institution visits due to a mental health problem were significantly associated with paternal depression.
